No Paws Left Behind.

I was able to see one of my babies leave the shelter yesterday and, needless to say, I was an emotional train wreck throughout the entire process. I went from not knowing whether Ren was even still alive, to learning that he had been saved because his adoption fee was paid for by generous donors, to actually being able to watch him leave. Even though I was a total waterworks the whole time, I am so happy that Ren is about to continue his life and live out his days without them being cut short all too soon.

As I walk up and down the runs at the shelter, it always amazes me how many pure-breeds are there. After some research, I learned that 1/3 of dogs in shelters are pure-breeds. If you are looking for a specific breed, PLEASE have patience and save a shelter dog’s life. I promise…
